Kangaroos are active animals making the meat very lean; an excellent alternative for those who are protein or weight conscious. Kangaroo is particularly high in protein, iron and zinc. Our kangaroo is free-range, where they can graze free from antibiotics, added growth hormones and chemicals.
It’s subtly rich flavour makes it a versatile meat that can be used in many different dishes and cuisines. It can also be cooked pretty much any way you like. Try slow cooking kangaroo rump or simply cook it on the BBQ or in the pan like kangaroo steaks and fillets. When it comes to kangaroo mince, there’s no need to change your meatball or burger patty recipe, it performs with the same meaty awesomeness as beef.
