Chef Monica of 'The Gluten Free Food Co' makes all our Ready-To-Cook meals on site in her kitchen above us at the Butchery. Now, how's that for staying local? Due to the small-scale nature of the business, Monica doesn't use any major machinery meaning that each meal is handcrafted.
You can eat with peace of mind knowing that Chef Monica cooks with fresh ingredients, Organic and Free-Range meats and doesn't use any preservatives in order to provide you and your family with tasty, nutrient dense meals.
Our pork is sourced from Dawson Valley Free Range, which is located around 300km north-west of Bundaberg. Dawson Valley pigs are fed a grain ration, as all pigs need to be, however it is GMO free and merely supplements their natural diet. No chemicals, growth stimulants or antibiotics are used in the management of livestock, and on the rare occasion that there is a sick animal who needs medication, then this animal is removed from the sale stock.
