Side dish guide!
What's trickier than deciding what meat to have tonight, is what you're going to pair it with right?
We want to help make mealtime a little less stressful and provide you with some seriously yum side dishes to enjoy alongside your gorgeous Free-range and Organic meat.
Away we go!
Broccoli steam salad This might sound crazy, but it is crazy good! Using the stem of the broccoli, cut it down into the size and shape of a matchstick wack over a ranch sauce or any kind of creamy sauce and enjoy the incredible crunch!
Baby potatoes boiled or roasted and seasoned with garlic, rosemary, salt, pepper and a splash of lemon. Yum.
Oven roasted Portobello mushrooms Take the stem out and lay them belly up and drop a dollop of butter in the middle (and a filling if you'd like) and slide the tray into the oven. Cook until the butter has melted, and the mushrooms are cooked through. Sprinkle with Moroccan seasoning, salt, pepper and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Sweet potato mash Just like normal potato mash, peel and cook the sweet potato until soft. Mash with milk, cream, butter or sour cream and season to your liking!
Asian inspired Green beans Once the green beans are cooked, strain and set aside as you cook garlic, ginger, turmeric and soy sauce until bubbling then add the beans into the pan and quickly mix it all in and serve.
Couscous This grain is literally a gift from the time gods. It only needs a kettle of boiling water and 5 minutes to cook. Season to your taste and add things like black beans or chickpeas to add some volume.
