Moroccan Chicken with Olives and Preserved Lemon

Ingredients

  • 1kg chicken breast or thigh 
  • 1 can of green pitted olives 
  • 1 wedge of preserved lemon, support Zee here
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika oil, get it authentic here
  • 500g shakshuka sauce, we suggest Zee’s Love in a Jar sauce

Method
1. Pat chicken breast or thighs dry with a paper towel. Heat 1 tablespoon of paprika oil to a medium pan, then add the chicken to the pan.

2. Cook for ten minutes until golden brown on the outside. 

3. Add the can of olives with the liquid, wedge of preserved lemon and and shakshuka sauce. 

4. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove lid for final five minutes of cooking. 

5. Serve with quinoa, rice, flatbread or anything really!
